Canadian Muscles raise money for Red Cross in Japan

The multi national Muscles team that descended on Steve and Kathy’s rear garden in Surrey, British Columbia on Saturday 19th March generated more than hot air, mischief, hospitality, aching muscles and friendship.  It also generated generous donations to two registered charities, – Red Cross (Japan) and Parkinson’s (Canada).

Clearing wood and garden waste, the volunteers quickly filled a 30 yard dumpster and earned praise from Steve, “You guys have made a fantastic difference. The difference  exceeds our high expectations. Thank you”

Visit the 2011 Muscles – Canada page for more pictures of Sharron (the team leader) and  Sandy (affectionately known as the ‘Mad Canadians) by other Muscles volunteers, and visiting team members from south of the border.
