Saturday morning 14th May 2011, and a team of Muscles volunteers arrived at Champion House, Bellevue, WA ready and willing to repaint significant areas of the interior as a result of generous auction donations to the host agency – Helping Hands for the Disabled.
The mission of Helping Hands for the Disabled is to give people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to achieve their potential and build their self esteem. HHFTD encourages community involvement by advocating for and developing creative housing options. Champion House is home for eight people with severe and multiple disabilities.
