Three days of painting in thirty degree temperatures tested the endurance, skills and stamina of the international team that descended on Lier for a magical weekend of fun, friendship and a degree of mischief.
OXFAM and the Gurkha charities were the recipients, and it may have been hot but the painted rooms were immediately above an ice cream parlour!

The Ice Cream Parlour, under the ownership of Johan and Else, in the centre of medieval Lier was the centre of Muscles activity and outstanding Belgian friendship and hospitality for a number of special and memorable years.
