During the year, out of an abundance of concern, the Muscles – Canada team have, reluctantly rejected requests for projects due to Covid 19 and the Delta variant.
There is sad news about Canadian Muscles member, Sally Gardner
Sally Gardner joined the Canadian Muscles for Charity team in early 2020.
Unfortunately her infectious personality and people skills arrived at the start of the Covid 19 outbreak, just across the US/Canadian border from her home in Langley, British Columbia. Well known, and respected, by the Canadian team Sally was able to travel south into the USA – before the border was totally closed – where she was equally well received and planned to accompany Team Leader Sharron Lyons and join the Muscles team in Normandy during July 2020.
In June, Sally was diagnosed with a terminal disease and died several weeks later. She leaves two daughters, Sheryl and Janice as well as one grand daughter, Grace.
Sally left us with the following comment, “I had a great life and I have no regrets”
Rest in Peace, Sally.
