UK 2006

Two re-roofing projects, constructing patio bases, and garden clearances occupied volunteers during the year. But a trip to Woodbridge in early December to install exterior christmas lights remains long in the memory, because all the hard work on a cold day was demolished later in the day by gale force winds!

Wicked rumour prevailed and suggested that half the decorations ended up festooned across a North Sea container boat.

Revisiting Shrubbery Farm, Hasketon allowed the team to build a pathway and retaining wall and for the recipients Molly and Gordon Brown to demonstrate their effectiveness at producing the largest amounts of bacon sandwiches.

During the year the team contribution help Muscles for Charity pass the 4,500 voluntary hours milestone.
