October 2023
Despite the recent floods , the team were greeted by glorious weather when they arrived in Sudbourne Suffolk to undertake some garden preparations for the forthcoming winter. Our organised host Kate had compiled a list of jobs (internal /external) that she requested the volunteers to consider. Ten members took up the challenge and fuelled by sausage baps and coffee / tea quickly got stuck into transforming the garden with a very smart short back and sides. The offcuts , trimmings and rotten wood filled an entire skip. Kate was delighted with the finished product having already made donations to UNICEF for Ukraine , The British Legion and The Salvation Army.
