For the ninth successive year Muscles for Charity volunteers in Washington State were involved in the annual Tour De Cure cycle challenge, featuring a selection of bike rides (up to 100 miles) in the evergreen hills and valleys east of Seattle. The happy and enthusiastic team (featured above) managed the Rest Station at Maltby used by the hundreds of riders involved in the 40, 70 and 100 mile routes.  The challenge is organised (and raises money and awareness) on behalf of American Diabetes Association.

Hoby is an accomplished cyclist, but Frank’s training consisted of working at a Belgian Monastery and drinking a variety of Belgian beers – accompanied by 26 other Muscles volunteers and wife, Amy, eight days prior to the event on Saturday 10th May.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved, especially Frank and Amy after their marathon European adventures.
